Rob Watson, President
Over the years I have heard many stories about how someone was broken into, stolen from, embezzled from, had fear that ex spouses, employees, partners would come back and do….. Well you name it, security devices that failed at the last minute and they could not secure their premises. The list goes on and on. I have the privilege of helping people with their safety, security, and peace of mind every day. I love my job! It’s a great feeling when someone tells me that we have taken care of them. That why I go to work.
When I’m not at work I’m hanging out with my best friend and wife, Katherine and spending as much time with my family as possible. We have 6 great kids. 2 in college, 1 serving our country in the Army, 1 in high school, and 2 left in elementary school. Wow I’m tired just thinking about it. Thank God for Katherine!

Jesse Black, CPL, Seattle Branch Manager (Nyberg Locksmith)
I first got started in the locksmith industry in 1989 when I was in Bountiful, Utah. I actually got into locksmithing by accident. While in Bountiful, one of my best friends, Trent, died in a car accident and his father owned a locksmith company. There were four of us that were inseparable as friends and over time, we all became locksmiths. It actually started as a summer job for me and as they say, the rest is history.
One of reasons that keeps me in the industry is not just the excitement of seeing things change and move forward but from the feeling you get knowing that “the door is locked and someone somewhere will not have to worry.” I also love being creative and coming up with new and innovative solutions for our customers. This is fun and also keeps me on my toes. Criminals think they are smart – but they aren’t as smart as us and we have far more solutions than they have approaches. This keeps the days interesting and my passion for helping customers solve their problems.
I have worked for a few different locksmith companies, including the Government. Having been with Nyberg Lock/Watson Security has been a great place to be and watch my career grow. Seems like I have done it all so it is nice to be able to help the company grow by managing several of the employees and working directly with the team to really make our customers love us. I love the team and since Rob took over the business, we are doing nothing but growing and expanding.
Bert Honeywell, Renton Branch Manager (Watson Security, Renton Key Shop)
I grew up in the Port Orchard area. My interest in locksmithing was first sparked by my high school service club . In 1978 I took a job at a local bicycle/locksmith shop. After repairing bikes for awhile I asked the owner if he would teach me the locksmith side and that launched me into the security/locksmith profession for the past 32 years.
I have been working for Watson security since 2000 and loving it. What attracted me to this company was the leadership (“Our fearless Leader Rob Watson”) its professionalism and care shown to its customers.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two almost teen boys. I’m also a classic car enthusiast and love to restore old cars. When a car show is in town that’s where you will find me!
Sue Desrochers, Corporate Accounting Manager
I have been working in the security industry since 1992, first in Wenatchee and now in the Seattle area.
I enjoy working for Watson Security because of the level of care and expertise they bring to the customers. They would not be satisfied offering a poor product or shoddy work. That is the standard that I believe in and want to be connected to.
On a lighter note, I love to sew, create art and the outdoors. But now, with a new granddaughter, my time is focused on her.
